Regenerative Farmer • Soil Health Advocate • Drumard Farm
Bronagh runs Drumard Farm in Co. Tyrone. She keeps mainly native breed cows and a few sheep. She took over the family farm in 2020 with a mission to restore soil function and health. She is passionate about helping other farmers learn about soil health and transforming our food system.
She also runs a worm composting system, producing materials for seed dressing and biological soil amendments. She no longer uses chemicals on the farm and produces high-quality farmyard manure—almost compost.
She practices adaptive multi-paddock grazing and works to increase biodiversity in her pastures. She has recently established an orchard on the farm, keeps bees, and grows a wide variety of trees in her small nursery.
