Therese O’Keeffe runs a beef farm alongside her husband, Bill O’Keeffe, in Ballynoe, East Cork. They were active participants in the BRIDE project, which concluded in 2025, and are active members of BASE Ireland.
She completed a foundation level course of the Soil Food Web in 2021. A recent project on the farm includes planting native trees for the ‘Trees for Water’ scheme, which covers approximately 5 acres of their land.
She recently joined the Board of the East Cork Rivers Trust, an organisation established in response to the flooding in Midleton. This trust actively seeks Nature Based Solutions within the local catchment area.
