We are looking for volunteers to support the inaugural Farming for Nature Festival. If you are interested in farming, nature and the Irish food sector, we would be delighted to have you join our team and help the festival run smoothly.

All volunteers must be over 18 years of age.
All applicants will be contacted by email once the selection process is complete.

How It Works
What do volunteers receive for their time?
Volunteers receive a free festival ticket and a sandwich/lunch in return for a 6-hour volunteer shift.
What volunteer roles are available?
Roles may include registration support, information desk support, session stewarding, site stewarding, car parking assistance, and setup/reset. Volunteers are also expected to bring a positive and helpful attitude.
When are volunteers needed?
Volunteers must be available on both Monday, June 22nd, and Tuesday, June 23rd. Some additional assistance may be required during festival setup from June 19th to 21st.
What are typical shift times?
Shifts may include:
Monday 3pm – 9pm
Tuesday 7am – 3pm (shift times may vary slightly)
Tuesday 2.30pm – 8.30pm
Will I know my schedule in advance?
Yes, a shift rota will be confirmed ahead of the festival. Volunteers will receive adequate breaks and can also experience parts of the festival while supporting the event.
Is there any training or briefing?
Volunteers will attend an online Zoom briefing approximately one week before the festival. The exact time and date will be confirmed once volunteers are selected.
Who arranges accommodation and travel?
Volunteers are responsible for their own accommodation and travel. Please see our accommodation page for more information.
