Birgit is a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in Austria and a Farming for Nature Ambassador. As an award-winning winemaker, she has been honoured with the Environmental Award of Burgenland for her deep commitment to sustainable agriculture and ecological balance.
Viticulture & Philosophy
Birgit is a member of the prestigious international group La Renaissance des Appellations, uniting leading biodynamic winegrowers from around the world. Her wines reflect a strong sense of place, vitality, and authenticity — expressing both the terroir and the living ecosystem of her vineyards.
Farming, Community & Wellbeing
Beyond winemaking, Birgit runs a Green Care Hof, integrating the social dimension of agriculture by creating spaces for wellbeing and community engagement. She is also a certified Qigong teacher, combining mindfulness and movement with her holistic approach to farming.
As a Farming for Nature Ambassador in Austria, Birgit actively promotes regenerative farming, biodiversity, and a conscious approach to wine and agriculture.
