Helen and husband Charlie farm 50 acres in rural Tyrone with fibre flax as the main output in a crop rotation.
Agricultural Innovation & Nutrient Management
Helen specialises in innovation techniques. She was the Innovation Broker for the Water Innovation Network, bringing together farmers, ecologists, and other specialists to look at how we can keep nutrients on the farm.
Collaborative Learning & Nature-Friendly Networks
Helen is one of the team behind the Growing Innovation Network, creating the space for farmers to explore new ideas for building better farming systems. Helen is also on the Northern Ireland Steering Group of the Nature Friendly Farming Network.
