Dr Pippa Hackett is a former Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (2000-2025), where she had responsibility for Land Use and Biodiversity.
Broadcasting & Journalism
Ella has a keen interest in farming and rural matters, having presented RTÉ’s award-winning food and farming series Ear to the Ground since 2008. She is also a regular reporter and presenter on RTÉ’s radio programme, Countrywide.
Regenerative Agriculture Leadership
She is currently the Manager for the Project BASELINE EIP on Regenerative Agriculture.
Organic Livestock Enterprise
She is an organic suckler beef and sheep farmer in Co Offaly.
