Her work focuses on building resilient and sustainable local food systems, improving food environments and supporting education, while bringing a strong, practical voice to policy, research and public discussion.
For over two decades she has worked at the intersections of food, farming, and catering — advocating and taking action towards resilient and sustainable local food systems, better food environments, and food education.
An experienced consultant, project manager and researcher, Ruth is also a regular media commentator on food policy issues, MC and speaker, and food policy lecturer.
