Thomas is a Farming For Nature Ambassador and organic farmer based in Co. Kerry, managing a small mixed farm rooted in biodiversity, community and nutrient-dense food production.
His work focuses on building a resilient system that reconnects people with the land.
Since establishing the farm in 2007, Thomas has helped transform marginal land into a thriving system producing vegetables, salads, wheatgrass, meat, poultry and eggs, all sold locally through their shop, Manna Organic Store in Tralee.
Central to his approach is a deep respect for nature, with 15 acres of native woodland and a further 4 acres managed using permaculture principles, supporting rich biodiversity and healthy soils.
Community & Education
Thomas is passionate about reconnecting people with the land and believes farming must play a key role in addressing climate change. Through farm walks, workshops and his involvement in community organisations, he actively shares knowledge and inspires others.
As a Farming for Nature Ambassador, Thomas promotes biodiversity, local food systems and a deeper connection between people and the land, showing how small-scale farming can support both community and nature.
