About Will
Ecological Consultant • Ornithologist
Will grew up on a small family farm on the Somerset Levels, where his lifelong interest in birds and wildlife began. Having studied Ecology at the University of Durham, Will went on to carry out extensive farmland bird surveys for the British Trust for Ornithology.
Farmland Bird Surveys & Ecological Consultancy
He went on to build a career as a general Ecological Consultant, working across the UK and now in Ireland. Despite his broad professional expertise, he is still happiest when out in the field with a pair of binoculars in hand.
Birds, Surveying & Habitat Ecology
Through his work, Will brings a strong voice to conversations around biodiversity monitoring on working agricultural lands, demonstrating how precise bird population tracking can help evaluate habitat health and inform practical conservation strategies.
